About the program

Study hair cutting, coloring, chemical services, barbering, basic skin care and nails through a 1,250-hour program in Spanish or English. Theory uses Milady CIMA online, and practical instruction takes place with supervised models at the West Jordan academy. Completion prepares students for licensing; it does not itself award a state license.

What you get

Complete 1,250 hours and the required service counts, maintaining at least 70% cumulative attendance and an 80% average in theory and practical evaluations. The academy certifies completed hours to DOPL. State examinations and the license application follow completion.

Schedules & start dates

Attend campus Monday–Thursday and complete online CIMA theory Friday–Sunday at your own pace. Day study runs 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with 34 campus and 6 online hours weekly, for 32 weeks. Evening study runs 4:30–8:30 PM, with 16 campus and 8 online hours weekly, for 53 weeks.
