Editorial policy
Accuracy matters more than filling every blank.
These standards govern how schools are ordered, how uncertain information is handled, and how readers or schools can request a correction.
01 / Independence
No paid ranking or sponsored ordering
Schools cannot purchase a higher position in the directory. Listings are ordered using the controls shown to the reader, such as school name or an available school-specific price. We do not label a school “best” or assign a rating without a clear, evidence-based methodology.
02 / Accuracy
What we know and what we do not
Missing information remains missing. We do not infer accreditation, financial-aid eligibility, current seat availability, or a school-specific price from general market data. Material claims should link to a retrievable source and include the date they were last checked.
03 / Corrections
Request a review of a school profile
Readers and schools may send the profile URL, the fact that appears incorrect, and a supporting primary source to corrections@allcosmetologyschools.com. A request does not guarantee a particular edit; we review the underlying evidence and preserve editorial independence.
Material corrections should update the displayed fact, its source, and its last-checked date together.
04 / External links
School websites are separate services
Official-site, phone, application, and information-request links lead to third parties. Their terms and privacy practices apply after you leave this directory. A link is provided for convenience and does not constitute an endorsement.
05 / Privacy
No student application accounts
The directory does not currently create student accounts or accept school applications. If contact forms, analytics, or lead services are introduced, this policy will be expanded before those features are made public.
