Rock Hill, South Carolina
Kenneth Shuler’s Rock Hill campus offers a 1,500-hour cosmetology program covering hair cutting, coloring, texture services, nail care, makeup and business skills. Training moves through Skill, Design, Style and Master levels, combining classroom and mannequin practice with supervised experience in the student salon.
You receive a diploma after completing 1,500 training hours, required theory and practical work, a cumulative grade of at least 75%, and the required exams with scores of at least 75%. Tuition and any overtime charges must be paid or covered by an approved payment arrangement before your final hours.
Students transferring more than 750 approved cosmetology hours receive a certificate of completion instead. The school award is not a cosmetology license; the program prepares you for South Carolina’s licensing examination.
Daytime classes run 9:00 AM–3:45 PM. The school lists four- and five-day patterns, but does not assign a specific daytime weekly pattern to each campus. Evening cosmetology classes meet Monday–Thursday, 5:15–10:15 PM, for 20 hours per week.
