Training and licensing are separate steps: finishing the courses prepares you for the state examination; it does not itself issue a professional license.

Cost & financial aid

Program price

Price unavailable

The complete program cost is not available. The cosmetology course page lists $180 tuition, a $5 technology fee, and $943.55 for the student kit and textbooks. The program spans three courses over 3–4 semesters, so the $180 tuition figure should not be read as the price for the entire program.

Black scrubs and black shoes are also required, with prices varying by retailer. The college’s short-term fee schedule adds a $25-per-semester security/parking charge for on-campus continuing-education courses of at least 16 hours.

The state licensing examinations are separate: $84 each for the written and practical exams.

This is noncredit short-term training, so the college’s degree and diploma financial-aid offers are not automatically available for this program. Federal aid for this cosmetology route is not confirmed. Short-term scholarship funding depends on the course, eligibility rules and available funds.

The Finish Line Grant may help currently enrolled continuing-education students facing an unexpected financial emergency. Awards are limited to $1,000 per student per semester, subject to eligibility, academic progress and funding. Approved funds go to the service provider, not directly to the student.
