Vance-Granville Community College offers the Cosmetology Diploma (D55140) at its Warren campus in Warrenton. Training covers hair design, chemical services, skin and nail care, professional presentation, and salon business. Students develop practical skills through supervised salon services.

Eligible cosmetology diploma students can apply for federal grants and other financial support. For cosmetology, the college uses a special course-hour conversion to calculate aid enrollment status, so your aid load may differ from your registered academic credits.
Federal Direct Loans are not offered at VGCC. Scholarships, work-study and payment plans have separate conditions, and aid awards depend on eligibility and funding. Maintaining aid normally requires a 2.0 cumulative GPA, completion of at least 67% of attempted credits, and finishing within 150% of the program’s length.
