About the program

Paul Mitchell The School Fayetteville offers a 1,500-hour cosmetology program combining classroom instruction with practical clinic experience. Training progresses through four named stages:

  • Core: A 230-hour introduction to fundamentals, professional practices and technical skills.
  • Protégé: Approximately 70 hours preparing for the clinic classroom.
  • Adaptive: From approximately 300 to 750 hours, specialty workshops are combined with practical services.
  • Creative: The final approximately 750 hours develop practical and creative skills for entry-level work.

Coursework includes cutting, coloring, texture services, skin and nail care, sanitation and salon business skills.
