Wichita, Kansas
Crave’s Wichita campus offers 1,500 hours of cosmetology training, combining classroom instruction with supervised work in the student salon. Training progresses through Core, Experience, Create and Salon Life, covering hair, skin and nail services as well as business skills.
Students begin with foundational practice before serving paying clients; at least 320 training hours are required before client services.
Earn a diploma after completing the required training and academic work, meeting 85% attendance and academic standards, and attending graduation or receiving an excusal.
The diploma is separate from a professional license. State-exam applications are handled during the exit process after graduation requirements are met; tuition obligations must also be settled before hours are released.
Career support includes resume help, mock interviews and salon networking, but employment is not guaranteed.
The daytime and evening pathways follow the same cosmetology curriculum on different weekly schedules. As students advance, more time shifts to supervised salon practice, while classroom instruction continues. Optional rotation or makeup hours need approval and are not guaranteed.
