About the program

Sycamore offers a 1,500-clock-hour cosmetology program with hands-on salon training in cutting, coloring, chemical services, styling, skincare, and nail services. The program prepares students for Illinois cosmetology licensure.

What you get

You receive a diploma after completing 1,500 hours, maintaining at least a 75% average on required written and practical exams, passing the school written and practical final with 80% or higher, and making satisfactory payment arrangements.

Graduates can then take the Illinois cosmetologist licensing examination. The diploma is not itself a professional license.
